I'm Katie and welcome to my blog. Here you'll find anything PR and digital PR related - anything and everything from my favourite campaigns to PR tips and advice.

So, why did I start my blog? Because I LOVE PR, in particular digital PR and Earned Media, and love talking about my favourite campaigns and the digital PR industry in general. I decided to take the plunge and create my own little space so I can write to my heart's content about PR.

I started my career back in 2015, whilst I was in my final year of studying Journalism at Leeds Trinity University. For just short of a year I worked as a Police Support Volunteer at West Yorkshire Police in the Corporate Communications department. I volunteered once a week, whilst juggling a full-time degree and part time retail job, and absolutely loved my time there. I produced artitcles for the in-house police magazine, interviewed police staff and officers for articles, as well as producing some social media content.

I actually fell into PR, and originally started my career, after graduating with a First Class Hons, as a Content Exec at a PR agency in Leeds. After merging the PR and Content teams together after being there for about six months, I took my first steps into the digital PR world.

Since, I've worked with clients in travel, property, trade, education, pet, B2B, and iGaming industries on well-known brands and smaller, local brands. I've gained both print and online coverage in national, regional, lifestyle, trade, B2B, travel and sport press.
